Pfister - Plastic part failed after three years
So I was doing laundry in adjacent room and I hear the sound of a burst pipe. Thought it was washer hose.
It was my Pfister cold water faucet shooting water probabky three GPM. Huge mess in under two minutes. I shut off the water and inspection discovered the threaded collar on the connection failed, split in two. Really glad I was home, the basement , and good portion of house would have been in ruin.
Similar issue with GE fridge couple years ago. The faucet was professionally installed so im thinking its just a cheap manufacturers dexision to us plastic I will never use Pfister again and givw you all the samw advice.
Stay away from plastic. Plastic plumbing blows.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

I had th exact same thing happen this past January 2019 - pfister Kamata , the black o,a sting coupling to the cold water line blew in half in the middle of the night , we woke up to a flood after hearing the water spraying inside the vanity . Put a claim through to pfisterโs parent company and just heard back from their insurer that itโs been denied due to tool marks on the part, which was total *** .
I hired the most reputable plumber in town to install it five years ago . If the donโt change their minds fast , Iโm suing them .
